Anti-Sweatshop Campaign In this email: 1. Leaflet and Action at Carlton Football Match 2. Broadening the No Sweat Campaign, beyond Nike Leaflet and Action at Carlton Football Match Nike sponsors Carlton Football club and recently sent a letter to Carlton members, complaining about the weekly Nike protests. We will be taking the message about Nike's use of sweatshop labour directly to Carlton supporters at their last match of the season. We will be leafleting supporters outside and there will be an attempted banner drop inside the stadium. The game is on Saturday September 1at Carlton's home ground, Optus Oval at Royal Park in Carlton, on Royal Parade. For those who would like to participate in the banner drop action, meet at Gate 9 at 9.30am - look for the person in the bright aqua jumper. The cost is $20 for a full price ticket and $12 for concession ticket. If you are late, come to Gate 4 at 10.00am, we will be queuing for tickets. If you would like to just leaflet the supporters from outside, be at Gate 5 from 12 pm to 2pm.
