Refugees are welcome! Stop the war on refugees!
A rally has been called by a meeting of some 60 people representing a broad
coalition of groups to oppose the federal government's war on refugees.
The following theme and demands have been adopted:
. Refugees are welcome! Stop the war on refugees!
. Accept the Tampa refugees
. End mandatory detention
. No to racism
The rally will be held at:
12 noon, Sunday September 9
Town Hall Square
Followed by a march to First Fleet Park
