Dear friends,
The Melbourne Peace Vigil needs you!
Since 13th October a vigil for peace has been maintained for one month on a
24 hour 7 day a week basis in Melbourne at the State Library lawns and since
friday 2nd November at the 8 hour day monument (Corner of Victoria and
Russel Streets). We need your help to volunteer for a regular shift at these
vigils and establish new ones
in other locations. In the near future a peace vigil tent city is planned
for the Woodend/Mt Macedon Hanging Rock area.

Donations of tents, blankets, sleeping bags, food and camping and catering
equipment are welcome.

Every Sunday at 2pm we are planning a concert for peace at the State
Library lawns. If you wish to perform at this concert please contact us.
The concert aims to provide a relaxed and convivial space for networking
amongst the diverse elements of the peace movement.

Contact us on 0409 857 657 or 0421 792 337 any time.

Now that the elections are behind us we urge all activists to support
the peace vigil and tent cities.

Fraternally,
Jim
