Activists in the Moreland area have called an open meeting of residents and
local groups to discuss setting up a local anti-war coalition.
Anyone opposed to the war and who lives or works in Brunswick, Coburg or
further north is very welcome. Members of Christian and Muslim groups, the
ALP, Greens, the Socialist Alliance and individual activists are among
those who have been invited.
The meeting will be at 7pm on Tuesday, November 20, in the rear room at
Caffe Mingo, 600 Sydney Rd, Brunswick (between Blyth and Stewart sts).
