Sixteen people met in Brunswick on Tuesday and launched "Moreland Against
War and Racism", a broad-based community group organising against the war.
MAWR will be running an anti-war stall at Barkly Square, Brunswick,
(carpark entrance) from 11.30am. All welcome!
The next meeting will be next Tuesday, November 27, at 6pm in the rear room
at Caffe Mingo, 600 Sydney Rd, Brunswick (between Blyth and Stewart sts).
We will be discussing a public statement and activity to organise a local
contingent for the rally against war in the city on December 9.
