John Howard claims he is running the election on leadership and experience.
This is fraudulent for the following reasons:

* his term has been marked by gross privatisation of government agencies
and utilities which means he is letting the market place decide what
happens to our publicly owned resources and is dodging his responsibilities

* allowing George Bush to run the "war on terrorism" agenda shows lack of
leadership & allows a person with no international experience to dictate
terms

* he has shown no interest or leadership in helping Ansett employees
after the crash or those disadvantaged by his inequitable Goods & Services
Tax

* on the Tampa issue, he tried to get East Timor, PNG, Nauru & NZ to take
asylum seekers

In other words, he has no leadership and no compassion. In order to win the
elections, he wants to risk the lives of young Australians in an
ill-conceived vendetta against those George Bush thinks may have been
responsible for 11 September attacks on the WTC & the Pentagon.

He is letting a man who wasn't properly elected, who doesn't read books,
whose international knowledge is almost zilch and whose inspiration seems
to come from films starring John Wayne, Ronnie Reagan (Ray gun) and
Charlton Heston
( president of the National Riflemen's Association, alias Moses and god!!!)
control the agenda.

Let's support candidates & parties that are committed to:

* peace
* social justice at home and abroad
* stopping military cooperation with repressive regimes (eg the Indonesian
military)
* showing leadership over Australian public utilities and natural resources
* opposing racism
* showing compassion to those in need or who face repression

Let's say no to Howard's racist & belligerent agenda & to Beazley's
spineless approach to the major issues
