On Thursday 18 October from 7.00pm there is an evening of music with gypsy
band Vardos and guest DJs at Ace Morning Bar 791 Sydney Rd Brunswick.
This is a fund raiser for Food not Bombs, a group which redistributes food
which would otherwise go to waste.
Money raised will help keep the Food not Bombs van on the road and buy some
more kitchen supplies.
At present Food not Bombs collects fresh organic vegetables from Victoria
Market and drops off food parcels to various community centres as well as
cooking up hot meals to be served up on the streets of Fitzroy and Footscray.
