The Socialist Party is standing three candidates in the Yarra City
Council election on March 16th 2002.
Merri Ward (Clifton Hill) 25 year old fitter and turner Anthony Main
Mackillop Ward (Fitzroy and Collingwood) 39 year old railway worker
Stephen Holdsworth Nicholson Ward (North Carlton and North Fitzroy) 24
year old social worker Denise Dudley - who received 30% in this ward in
last October's by-election.
The SP election launch will be this Tuesday 19th February at 7pm at the
Pinnacle Hotel, 251 St Georges Rd, North Fitzroy.
