During the summer months a group of people, concerned about the mistreatment of asylum seekers inside Australia's detention centres, decided to embark on a journey around the continent to visit the people in the camps, and to raise more awareness in the community, especially in rural towns. 'Waking up the Nation: Journal from the Freedom Bus' takes you on the journey, and introduces you to many of the hundreds of people still incarcerated.
