It will focus on the role of both approaches in campaign planning, member recruitment and protest tactics. Randy Stoecker is Professor of Sociology at the University of Toledo. Since the mid-1980s he has been working collaboratively with community organising and community development groups. He also moderates and edits COMM-ORG: The OnLine Conference on Community Organising and Development.
