This interactive workshop will compare on-line political organising
tactics with traditional face-to-face organising tactics. It will focus 
on the role of both approaches in campaign planning, member recruitment 
and protest tactics.

Randy Stoecker is Professor of Sociology at the University of Toledo.
Since the mid-1980s he has been working collaboratively with community
organising and community development groups.  He also moderates and 
edits COMM-ORG: The OnLine Conference on Community Organising and 
Development.
