* Repeal the NSW Terrorism (Police Powers) Act
* Don't racialise crime; stop scapegoating Islamic & Middle Eastern
communities
* Money for community services not more prisons; no new women's prison
* Three people is not a gang; stop police harassment of young people
* Decriminalise personal drug use; for safe injecting rooms &
prescription heroin trials
* Remove abortion from the Crimes Act; increase funding for pro-choice

* Repeal all legislation that erodes civil liberties; sniffer dogs off

TRADE UNION & WORKERS' RIGHTS
* Support and build solidarity with workers taking strike action to
improve their pay, conditions and rights
* Repeal all anti-union laws
* Restore workers' compensation rights; make the bosses pay
* Nationalise companies that threaten mass sackings; guarantee workers'
entitlements
* Full adult wages for young workers; no work for the dole
* Introduce industrial manslaughter laws; jail employers who kill
* Legislate for 12 months' parental leave on full pay
* For shorter work hours with no loss of pay
PUBLIC NEED NOT CORPORATE GREED
* Restore Telstra to public ownership
* Free and expanded public transport; no tollways
* Stop the public sector cuts & outsourcing
* Nationalise the insurance industry
BETTER PUBLIC EDUCATION & HEALTH CARE
* Government funding only for public and secular education
* 20 is plenty: reduce class sizes
* No public school closures
* No hospital mergers; keep all hospitals open
* Funding to eliminate hospital & nursing home waiting lists
* Funding for Medicare; not private health companies
REDISTRIBUTE THE WEALTH: ACTION AGAINST POVERTY
* Increase company & wealth taxes to increase all pensions & benefits to
a living wage
* Replace the GST with a progressive tax system to fund the public
services we need
* Public investment to increase jobs & services in rural areas
* Massively expand quality, public housing
* Access to quality community-based child-care for all
* Reduce politicians' salaries & superannuation to those of an average
worker
END DISCRIMINATION
* Same age of consent laws for lesbians & gays
* More resources for mental & physical disability support services
* Land rights and affirmative action for indigenous people; implement
the Aboriginal Deaths in Custody royal commission recommendations
* Restore & increase funding to women's services
* More support services for new migrants, free English language classes
for all
* Decriminalise euthanasia
CLEAN, GREEN & SUSTAINABLE
* Close Lucas Heights; no new nuclear reactors
* End logging old-growth forests; more national parks to protect
bio-diversity
* Reserve urban parkland; no developers on the ADI site
* No charcoal plant on the South Coast
* More funding for clean renewable energy development, water
conservation & to fight salinity
* No genetically modified crops; make NSW GMO-free
* Effective action on greenhouse; make the polluters pay
