hello,
i'm in the process of putting together what i'm hoping what will become
a regular newsletter for people interested in developing a revolutionary
union movement in australia. the purpose of this email is to seek short
submissions.
the newsletter will (for the moment) be a personal project of mine. it
will function and operate outside of either the asf and iww, and will
hopefully include submissions from members of both organisations. i'm
hopeful that the newsletter will act as a bridge between the two
organisations, as well as providing an opportunity for those who, for
whatever reason, choose not to participate in either.
the first few editions will probably be photocopied 12 page editions.
they will also be made into PDF files for permanent download from a
website which i'll get up and running soon.
as i say, if you would like to write something, i would like any article
to be no more than 500-1000 words. you can write on anything you like,
issues you're thinking about, things that are happening that you think
should be reported / commented on, and so on. stories of resistance at
work would be really good (am getting a story from a friend of mine who
worked at Kmart and let people walk out with stuff, for example).
graphics and stuff like that would be cool also.
i'll make the deadlines for each issue the end of the month (with a
little more flexiblity for the first one).
