'Anarchy for Life' is the third annual national anarchist and autonomist
conference in Australia. It will be held at Visible Ink, 139 Constance
St, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, May 2-4, 2003

This conference aims to bring anarchist and autonomous activists from
around Australia together, to share knowledge, experiances and build
supportive networks.

The conference wil use a combination of pre-planned workshops and 'open
space' technique for workshops. This means that certain workshops will
have been organised before the conference while other workshops and the
topics will be decided on the day, by those participating in them. Open
space is about free flowing workshops where particpants can choose for
themselves which workshops to attend, when and for how long.

Some of the many pre-planned workshops include:-
      # Introducing Anarchism
       # Animal Rights (Veganarchy?)
        # No Borders No Nations
         # Open Source & Intellectual Property
          # Anarchist History
           # Estabilshing an Anarchist/Activist Resourcing Network
            # Anarchist Organising and Collective Process Techniques

In a lead-up to the conference, will be a Week of Anarchy (yeah!)
including various events, actions and the May Day protest-festival.
These activities include:-
  # Anarchist Ball: Sat 3rd May featuring Alien Virus + other bands +
karaoke
    # Radical Cinema: Fri 2nd May at Visible Ink
      # Zine and Book Fair: Fri 2nd May at Visible Ink
        # Reclaim the Streets: May Day details t.b.a.
          # Doof and funky stuff: Evening Fri 2nd May at Jubilee Hotel

So put the dates in your diary now, and make some travel plans. Everyone
is invited and there are no tickets to buy. Food Not Bombs even said
they'd come and do up some lunch!!
