Bankstown Books NOT Bombs presents a film and discussion night:

FIGHTING RACISM AND POLICE HARASSMENT: THE BLACK PANTHER EXAMPLE

FILM: "Panther"

"Panther", is a movie that looks at the resistance of Black Americans to
police brutality and racism will be shown from 5:45pm. This will be 
followed by a discussion on racism and police harassment in and around 
the Bankstown area, initiated by Ghiwa Hannouf, media representative of 
the United Muslims of Australia (UMA). Hopefully the discussion can 
begin formulating plans to combat racist initmidation, be it from the 
police, the media, or from within the broader Bankstown community.

WHERE: Senior Citizens Club Hall, Whitehead Park, Cooper Rd., Yagoona (next
to train station)

WHEN:5:30pm (this) Friday, June 13th
