As the World Trade Organisation meets this September in Cancun Mexico,
the occupation of Iraq drags on, and the nuclear powers increase their
arms spending, the Victorian Peace Network will host a seminar on the
links between militarism, corporate globalisation and international
institutions.
Join us for speakers, panels and discussion on:
- The New Militarism;
- Global power and Unilateralism;
- Aid, Trade and the WTO;
- the war on the poor in the Third World;
- the role of international institutions (WTO, United Nations); and
more.
