The first reading will feature Neil Boyack and Michael Hyde
reading from their recently published books.
Boyacks's book of stories Transactions is the best in a line of books
that began at the beginnings of Grunge in Australia. Like much of the
fare at Flor, he has matured well.
Hyde's Hey Joe, is the latest novel by a rough old Australian red.
Though mellowed with age, Hyde's story of the Vietnam war, the protests
and their aftermath still has enough spice to keep most palates
interested.
