Dear Friends,

With only just over a week to go until the 2003 SSF, this is just a
short update to let you know about the fantastic content of this year's
forum.

Registrations and workshop proposals have been steadily coming in and
we've now put together an initial programme which covers issues such as
oil and power, the media, indigenous rights, war and the Middle East,
free trade, Latin America, union activism, economics, public education,
democracy in the Asia-Pacific, yoga, bio-technology, life after
capitalism + a variety of documentary screenings and more.

To take a look at some of what's on offer, check out the initial programme:

If you haven't done so already, registration can be done at the Friday
night opening session on "Is the American Empire Unstoppable?". Formal
weekend registration is at 9:00am on Saturday 25th, however you can
register at any stage during the course of the weekend.

Yours in the belief that another world is possible,
