Hundreds of Socialist Alliance members protested in Canberra to show
George W Bush we are opposed not only to the US occupation of Iraq, but
also the proposed US-Australia Free Trade Agreement. Prime Minister
Howard and President Bush would like to see things wrapped up for the
AUSFTA by the end of 2003.
Labor is with them all the way.
Defending the PBS (Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme) will be high on the
agenda for Socialist Alliance campaigning during the federal election.
