This error is caused by a problem with your .hdb file (the file that controls
the hints).
To fix this error you will need to reset the .hdb file. To do this close
Legacy and browse to the location of your family file (by default this is
Documents>Legacy Family Tree>Data) and at the location of your family file you
should see a .hdb file. Please delete this .hdb file. You should now be able
to open Legacy without error.
This error was caused by a bug with the .hdb file not closing correctly when
you closed Legacy. This bug has been fixed in the latest update of Legacy.
Please download the latest build of Legacy from the following site:
https://legacyfamilytree.com/DownloadUpdate.asp
If the problem still occurs using the latest build of Legacy please contact
[email protected] and let us know along with the full version number
of your program.
