Hello Andrew Martin I believe Tim may be correct, depending on which side of 0 you are at, will change the direction and the look of the circle. Now you have me curious. But I cant go out and play at this time.so I will try to sit here and lessen to the reports until I can.... I wish you both luck on this project/concept. I cant wait to see where is ends up! ;-)

If your table is turning clockwise, you get the same spiral no matter where you start. You need to use your right and left hand gears to reverse the spiral. try it.
