Tim The quick answer is no, I have not hardly used it so far. So I suppose a clamp between table and base would, or could be used,thus overriding the gear teeth mesh The best thing I think,, is the rod that I made to go through the center to locate the blank. The pics in the dropbox that Bill kindly put up shows how to do a bowl, I think I would do it different i:e- two slight center drill marks each side of the blank, locate the pointed rod in the center of the part of the blank that is going to be routed out, then route and finish the base first, after that do the inner part of the bowl, That way with my setup I would have a larger surface to use hot glue or double sided tape, thus making it more secure. What do you think of that idea??? Richard
