"Garage door rails"?  "Pointing down"?
Please explain - or better yet - some photos.

Keep in mind - the smaller LOMs have their extrusions installed very differently.  If you have one smaller than the 900 series, be sure to check your Operator Manual - in the assembling section.

Yes, I also checked mine ans found all rails (garage door rails) pointing down. Also STILL WORKS GREAT!

Welcome to "The Club" - you are not alone.
At least I know that my posting was read by someone that used the info to check their Mill for proper assembly.
I wonder how many more have either checked theirs or are going to.
