To all,
You are showing us a rather neat way to create a block with a "spiral rosette" on it.
Without the Rotary Table this would be quite a challenge of a non-plussed up LOM.
Your videos keep getting better and better.
Thanks for sharing.

I thank you as well Bill. I have plans to play with this next year. Your video is very helpful.

I very much like your use of the the 1,2,3 block for your spacing.
Your music is getting snapper as well. ;-)

Great job. Thank you.

Ok this pattern was done feeding the saddle as the rotary table is turning.

It is done with a 1inch rope moulding bit with a ½ inch pitch and 4 starts .1 cut across feeding from tail stock to head stock

2 undo leadscrew nut and move the saddle 2inches towards the tail stock re-engage the leadscrew . now cut the opposite direction for the second start headstock to tail stock 3 now dis-engage leadscrew nut and move saddle 1inch towards the tail stock re-engauge and mill the opposite direction for the third start milling from tail stock to headstock.4 Disengage leadscrew  and move the saddle 2 inches towards the tail stock re-engage and mill the final start in the opposite direction from head stock to tail stock.
