Very good advice Tim basically that’s how I would do it, legs off and in the
cab with you along with any small loose parts and any else that will fit. if
your worried about moving parts rattling off and getting lost I would wrap the
whole mill with cling wrap its cheap and will also give some protection against
bumps and scrapes and sit it on and place over it some old blankets when you
strap it down don’t pull it too tight and bend those wonderful rails, tied in
the back of the truck with the tailgate down.

Oh and one more thing Sandee, take all the linkage ands off and bring inside
too. Nothing gets lost that way. All loose or movable parts inside

Bill (and all),

Having a bit of a time trying to figure out how to answer the forum posts and
viewing them on my pc is a bit different than email. Bear with me, I'll get
the hang of it. :) I'll post pictures as soon as I get where I can. I didn't
mean to drop out of sight, I found and downloaded a legacy manual and have been
reading. The more I read the more projects I realize I'll have the capability
to do.

So now that I've found the mill, what is the best way to transport? The 1200
is 90" long and the my pickup with the tailgate down is 103". I have access to
a trailer but it's 19' in length and it looks like that maybe be a problem
getting access at the sellers location due to the steep terrain. Any ideas?
