Hello Jim The ridges are only .005 off the body of the handles. ( they can be seen easily by eye, but it took me a few pix. to get them to show up in the photos. Look at photo file handle3. they just do not show up well in the photo.) Here is a plywood box. that I did using the same method.

What bit did you use? How did you smooth out the ridges as shown in the "file handle1.jpg" photo?
