I don't think this is quite what you all are talking about, and I have't been able to locate the original post (tired, forgive me), but I have just noticed that when I try to sort spouses by date, it will sort them momentarily. When I close the "Husbands of___" screen, then reopen, they are back in the order in which I entered them. I can sort till I'm blue in the face, or place them in the order I want manually, but when I reopen the screen, they're back the way they were. It's frustrating to me, since I may not know all the spouses in the correct order at the time I enter them. I would like them to be in date order, especially since I share my GEDCOM on Rootsweb/Ancestry with family near and far. It looks like sloppy scholarship if they are out of order.
