Dear list,

I am enjoying the use of the source clipboard for one source and citation and the event copy function. Legacy is the best for entering your source data only once and copying for future entries. However, I discovered today another function that would be useful, unless I have missed something. I am entering data in a research file as I discover new data. As an example, from the 1900 census I entered the name Earnest. Later in my research, I found the WWI draft registration for this person and his name is spelled Ernest. Now I wish to change his name to Ernest and change Earnest to the alternate spelling. I can certainly do this, but if I could copy the previous citation for the 1900 census, I would not have to retype the citation for the alternate name entry. Have I missed something? If not does anyone else consider adding this function helpful?

Best regards,
Beth G.
