Just a note, that the status box is used so that you can see the
ending status of the marriage from the individual page as if the
status is anything other then marriage it will show in parenthesis
on the marrige info bar.
That does not seem to be the case for me, if I understand you
correctly. I have the Status of a marriage showing Divorced, but
there are *no* parentheses in the marriage info bar.
If you have sources for the status event then you would create an
event and attach the source to that event. ie divorce: decree, death
of one's spouse, annullment or separation papers, etc, etc.
My complaint is that when I enter a source for Marr Date, the Status
and Status Date (optional) are *also* red in addition to Marr Date
and In. I expect Marr Date and In to be red when sourced, but *not*
all items. Elsewhere in Legacy, the color red indicates that there is
a Source for the item.

What you are missing is that Legacy doesn't have separate source
fields for Marriage Status and Marriage Date and Marriage place
etc. Just a Marriage Source.
You may wish to ask for an enhancement.

When I go to Marriage Information for someone and enter that I
have a source for the *Marriage Date*, a marriage certificate in
this case, I find that the following are highlighted in red:
Marr Date
Status
In
Status Date (optional)
The red means, I believe, that I have a source for each entry.
However, it may well be that I do not have a source for Status
when it shows Divorced, Annulled, etc.
My concern is that by having *all* elements of Marriage
Information appear red when only the Marr Date is sourced, but
not the Status for example, will lead us think we have more
documents than we really have.
Am I missing something?
