Elizabeth,

You may well find a cd burner program on the free cds supplied with computer magazines. If you are in the UK let me know if you cannot find one and I will drop it in the post for you.

Subject: [LegacyUG] burn cd's?
Date: Thu, 22 Mar 2007 13:48:18 -0700 (PDT)

Hello,

I have accumulated so much genealogy information that
I know I need to make backups 'now'!! I have looked
through old archives and think I know which folders to
back up, but I just discovered that the CD burner that
came installed on my comuputer no longer exists
(Record Now)!!! (I had not used it for a very long
time)

What do I do now? Is there another "free" cd burner
available online that any of you use for you genealogy
records? Will any tyoe of CD work or is there a
special kind that works best?

Regards,
Elizabeth
