As Ron said, this suggests two applications accessing the same file simultaneously. The Legacy database is not setup to allow simultaneous multiple accesses. When an application opens a single use file, it "locks" the file for editing. If the application locks up and crashes, it may not "release" the file resulting in the file remaining locked to other accesses. Rebooting should release the file. C.G.
