With Legacy closed, go to the Legacy folder on your hard drive. Delete the
RptProbs.usr and the ProbsList.usr files. Then go to the c:\Legacy\Data
folder and delete the PPL file that has the same name as your Family File.
You should be able to create the report with no problem.

Thanks for using Legacy.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Legacy stops responding when trying to create a Problem
Report
Importance: High

I am a new user (Version 6.0.0.155) and have never been unable to create a
Problem Report. Every time I try, Legacy stops responding and the programme
shuts down. Sometimes the status bar stops at points other than 100%
complete and stops responding, and other times the status bar gets to 100%
complete but stops responding when I press Preview.

I have tried File Maintenance (no problems found), reinstalling Legacy,
cleaned the registry, reinstalled Windows XP and Legacy, and performed a
virus check (none found) - all actions were to no avail.

I am running Windows XP Version 2002 Service Pack 2. Legacy is installed on
my laptop C drive, and my files are on a network which I access via the
Desktop. Got gobs of disk space and memory on both machines. This is the
only programme that's giving me a headache.

Can someone urgently respond with suggestions?

Cheers,
Christine
