Some people consider them members of the family. I have both and I do. I
wouldn’t dream of putting them in medical notes and leaving them out of my
children!

Documenting miscarriage or stillbirth is not useful medical information
unless you can document the cause. If you can document the cause then that
is good to put in medical notes. However, they still belong in the children
for that family.

As far as writing “boy” or “girl” that is not necessary because you check
the box anyway.

It has seemed to me that the primary purpose for documenting
a stillborn birth (or a miscarriage for that matter), is to pass on
potentially useful medical information. Therefore, I have used
the Medical Notes in both parents' files that allow as much
cause-of-death detail as needed without having to use confusing
abbreviations.

If I don't have a name, I use "Infant Boy" or Infant Girl". They are
obviously separate persons, having different birth dates.
For twins, you might want to use "Infant Boy Twin" etc.
BTW how do you know about the stillborn children, is this from family
knowledge or do some countries register these births?
