I wouldn't add each letter as an event in its own right though - I would create an event - perhaps 'congratulatory letters' and add the text from all as part of the notes in the sentence definition for the event. After the text of the first letter I would add (in the notes) something like - She also received a letter from xyz which read: ... and then quote the text of that letter. I'd vary the way I introduced each letter, but I'd only use the actual event once.
Merry Christmas Cheers, Jan -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Rob Miller Sent: Thursday, 27 December 2007 2:46:AM To: [email protected] Subject: [LegacyUG] Congratulatory letters? I was recently given a number congratulatory letters my grandmother received on her 95th birthday (from Prime Minister, Premier, Governor General, etc.). About five letters in all. But, I'm not sure what to do with them (Legacy-wise). Would you create an event for each letter (i.e. "Mildred received a congratulatory letter from Prime Minister Chrétien on her 95th birthday." And so on ... )? Or is there another way you would record them? Thanks for your help! Rob Miller Give Legacy as a Gift for 25% Off.
