Assuming you want to bring in everything in the files - you want to do a "File - Import - From: Legacy File"
You will want to do this for each file you want to bring in. Keep a backup of your destination database from before the import!!!! You will then want to do a Merge to combine people that were in more than one file. I think you can setup for the import to start at a certain RIN (above already used) - some people do this to help with the merge, because then they know which file it came from.... I use the drag and drop for a person or a family - but for a whole database, the import would be the way to go. Hope this helps!
