Please don't forget that mapping is a deluxe feature, and the deluxe
features must be turned on first. -Robert

I cannot get it to work--you must have IE 7 installed on your
computer, right? I think that's the key--even if it's not your
default browser, it is still needed by Legacy to run the mapping.
I was so hopeful and encouraged, but not anymore. If you don't have
IE 7 installed, please let me know how you exactly can see the maps?

Hi Pat, I use FireFox not IE7 and the mapping works for me. Love it.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Legacy 7 Research Guidance repositories--where is
Footnote.com
I thought this new version would update the repositories it uses for
research suggestions--for example Revolutionary War pension
files--the obvious choice is Footnote.com <http://Footnote.com> but
it is missing!!!!
There are many other new databases that don't show up in Legacy 7.
I would have gladly waited for the release if more new features could
have been added, or made widely usable--such as the Mapping
Feature--can't use without IE 7!!!!
