Many thanks to all who responded. Unfortunately, I do have Windows2000, and my 
computer is so old, it is not able to be updated to a newer operating system; 
just not enough room! Guess I can put the mapping feature on the backburner for 
awhile.

I also use Firefox as my default browser and there is no conflict with 
Legacy. When you use a feature that relies on IE (the Legacy Home Tab 
and Research Guidance) Legacy uses IE to display the information. When 
you call an external Browser such as Internet > Search Internet then 
Legacy opens your default browser to perform the search.

Mapping requires IE7 be installed because that is one of the 
requirements imposed by Microsoft Virtual Earth.
