It might have been written incorrectly on the original. Original
records were also created by fallible human beings.

Sorry, I failed to give all the pertinent information. The year was
1882, clearly not divisible by 4. So, Legacy is correct in not
recognizing it and I guess the transcriber made an error. (These are
Probate Court Death Records). I wonder if it was February 20 or 19 or
???
