Hi All Listers:
The scenario:
After creating a tag list, I use the Rotate Feature on the Family View
the scan the tag list.
As you scan from one person to the next, the program maintains a pointer
to the current person
to go forward and backwards from this point in the list.
If I turn off the tag in this list and then press the forward or reverse
arrows to continue scanning
the list. Everything works as expected, the pointer will continue moving
through the list.
The problem:
I select a current tagged individual and go the the Individual's
Information Window.
I make any changes and *turn off the tag in the Individual's Information
Window*.
Then save the changes which returns me the the Family View to continue
my scan for the next or previous individual.
Pressing the forward or backward arrow brings up a message indicating
that I am at the beginning
or end of the tag list. *The pointer should be at the next person in the
list so I can continue my scanning
of the list without having to start over again through the list to where
I left off.
*
I know I could delay turning of the tag in the Individual's Information
Window and return to the Family View and
turn it off there but that defeated the purpose of having tags in the
Individual's Information Window.
PS. This pointer may not exist in the actual code. It was used to
discuss the problem I have with
the Rotate Feature.
