As you know I have always used the full address in the location field and am happy with the reverse order (although I'm fine about having the option to use either). However I am not clear about "ends with a comma". I do not use a separate field for house/number, incorporating it in the same field as the street - so mine reads: England, Lancashire, Eccles, 999 Park Street. I have been trying putting the house name/number in a separate field and your comment has made me realise that for the Chronological Report, in reverse it would read: England, Lancashire, Eccles, Park Street, 999 which whilst horrible , and has made me quickly go back to my previous practice ;-), it does not have a comma at the end - so where is your comma?.

When an Event (as in Event/Fact, not BMDs etc) appears in the Chronology and you have chosen to have the location at the start of the details, because my addresses are in the Address field and not part of the location the details read "England, Middlesex, Poplar. John Dodd; son; aged 8; born in Poplar, Middlesex; Scholar. See John Dodd 257. Address: 4 Montague Place," (The words from the first John to 257 are the Event Description and Event Notes."

If I don't opt to have the location at the beginning it reads "John Dodd; son; aged 8; born in Poplar, Middlesex; Scholar. Poplar, Middlesex, England. See John Dodd 257. Address: 4 Montague Place,"

Obviously, either way it seems like a good idea for me to start putting street addresses in the location field!

I notice that for a Marriage the details read "England, Cheshire, Liscard. Mary Cooper (born December Q 1859 in Salford, Lancashire, England). in Liscard, Cheshire, England. " or "Mary Cooper (born December Q 1859 in Salford, Lancashire, England). in Liscard, Cheshire, England." The repetition of the location following a full stop is obviously a bug, which I shall report as such. The complete absence of the address is another reason for putting "St Mary's Church" in the location - yay! I am converted!
