Though I've had Legacy 7 for several weeks now I've just now gotten around to looking at/playing with the Charting Program portion.
According to the manual "When first dsplayed, your chart is built out to five generations. If you want more or fewer genearations, you can change the setting by using the up and down arrows or by typing the desired number of genearations and pressing ENTER". Is there a way of altering this through a preferences setting somewhere? I made the mistake of clicking on the earliest ancestor in my file of over 3,100 individuals. I had to wait and wait, and wait for it to finish (generating 472 pages) before I could change the number of generations to only the first three that I wanted in the first place.
