Wait a minute - I don't recall saying I COULDN'T print without going to rtf, I think I said I couldn't PRODUCE a proper report without going to rtf. The cost of this isn't the issue - what is the issue is WHY DID VERSION 6 WORK FINE AND VERSION 7 IS A MESS. And will someone from Millenia fly into St. Paul and reinstall ver 6 for me and get me rolling again? Of course not - too costly - they don't care what kind of a product they've produced - they have my money for this so-called upgrade - and I'm left with a mess. I'm not shouting - just wanted to put emphasis on key words. On the other hand - since I did spend the money for the upgrade, and I don't have time to move to another software program - I'm a little short of temper, not cash, Tom.

That's not the point she was making. To begin withshe said you couldn't print without going to rtf or pdf. That's what I was responding to. People shouldn't have hobbies they can't afford.

Aren't you aware that you can print the reports directly from Legacy, including books? You don't have to send it somewhere else for printing.

Of course she is! Home printing is really only suitable for small quantities of printing. The ink (or toner) costs a lot of money. Paper isn't really cheap. Then there's the wear and tear on the printer. Not to mention the personal time involved.

Do you want to print it for her?
