I am extracting information from the 1909 issue of The New England
Historical and Genealogical Register. The title of the article is
"The Floyd Family of Rumney Marsh*." Part of the asterisk is below:
"Rumney Marsh, which was then the northernmost district of Boston,
became a part of Chelsea in Jan. 1738-9, and is now the town of Revere, Mass"
Members of this family were born in Rumney Marsh. Do I enter Revere,
Suffolk, Massachusetts, USA for their birth place? Legacy does not
list Rumney Marsh in its Geo Location Database.
