Mike and Ron~

This Yank thanks you, kindly, for the geographical and "pc" lessons!!

Now, Mike, you know I'm 100% in agreement.

The UK is a Kingdom *not* a country, and England is a country which is part of Great Britain. The latter comprising England, Scotland and Wales. The UK comprises Great Britain plus Northern Ireland.

Hvaing said that, we do not use eg. "England, Great Britain", only "England"

Locator gives me the choice, apparently, to use the term England, United
Kingdom or Great Britain.

Can someone offer the proper nomenclature for the time period?

It's always England or Scotland or Wales. (Your turn Ron)
