general technical questions about computers.

If the question is related to a particular OS and Legacy, then it's on
topic.

There are plenty of other groups for discussions about "a non-Legacy matter
is of universal interest."

I tend to go to the liberal side of this. Sometimes a technical question 
can bore the rest of us (though of course the question should be asked 
and answered) and sometimes a non-Legacy matter is of universal interest.
Sometimes an email which should have gone to an individual is broadcast 
to all of us... all part of the rich tapestry of life or something. It's 
very easy to delete stuff you don't want to see.

Maybe it's the heat getting to me, in the high 80s here in New Zraland
