I had set one up entitled "Military Draft Registration" as this allows me to differentiate between someone who served in the military and one who only registered for the draft.
Also, I set up the sentence structure as follows: [FirstName] registered for the military draft for [Desc] [onDate] [atPlace].[Sources] [Notes]
In the description field, I place the name of the war for which the person registered.
This has worked well for me.

Mary,
There already is one for Military Service (at least I don't think I added it). If you wish to add a more specific one then go to View>Master Lists>Event Definitions>Add and create one. Clicking the Reset button after entering the name and selecting the fields will enter the sentence definitions, although you may need to change them.
