Well, yes, and no. It *should* run correctly, but developers are constantly trying to improve Legacy. If / when they make a change (or add something), they honestly believe it doesn't affect anything else. That's why they depend on others to tell them when they run into a problem

Usually though, it is not very efficient time wise to fix each and every version. That is why new versions are released. The practice is more like: "Here's a problem, fix it for a future version." Just imagine all the work Millennia would have to do if they improved or fixed everything from the first release of Legacy all the time.

Unlike some other genealogy programs, Legacy is pretty stable. I download the latest version asap because I know it will be an improvement over the previous version. If it doesn't work, then I just wait a few more days for that to be fixed.
