And I hope you were just misspeaking and that you actually *uninstalled*
Clooz and not *deleted* it. There is a difference, and deleting Windows
programs can lead to all kinds of problems.

All I am doing is creating a 5.5 gedcom and when I try to upload it
onto Ancestry, all I get is a simple error message indicating tht
there was an error uploading the file.
I previously had a programme called clooz, which tried to
automatically load when I tried opened Legacy. I used to get frequent
messages about RIN numbers, or next number not available, ( sorry I am
not clear on this) or something similar. When I deleted the clooz
programme this stopped.
I do not know if that programme corrupted something and it is causing
the problems with the gedcom.
