If the recipient has a computer, it is easy to install Legacy free, and it is also easy to extract a GEDCOM of most any part of the file. A GEDCOM can be attached to an EMail, then just loaded into the other Legacy program. I find that the ease of moving around a program, and changing or adding information by computer, make that the preferred method by far.

If you're going from Legacy to Legacy, why run the risk of possibly losing information by using a GEDCOM? Why not simply make a backup and send the backup?
