[from a message i tried to send while the list was down]

For items like Education or Residence where you know that a person went
to a school for a period of between X and Y or they resided at a
location between A and B dates is what is the best way to handle that?

I have been using the Between prefix modifier that Legacy supports so i
might say
Resided here "Between July 1986 and June 1995"
Educated there "Between August 20, 1987 and May 22, 1989"
but I might also have
Degree of X from Y "May 22 1989" .... ties back to the education line.
etc etc

Is there any reason that this is not a good idea from a Legacy and
reporting perspective or moving data as it relates to the New Family
Search work?

How do others handle date ranges?

thanks

Alan
