Richard, Thank you for the response! My son has been going through birth and marriage certificates, building the families or adding to ones we already know about, and then sending me either small gedcoms or small Legacy files to add to my master database. Maybe that is why I am getting these duplicate marriages. I wonder if there is a better way to do this, and overcome this problem.
